JMD’S SERIES OF INKS

JMD’s inks are application-formulated in order to give our customer’s codes greater opacity . . . maximum resistance to fade-out . . . increased surface adhesion . . . and longer shelf life.

Why a Series of inks? Because no one ink can do all jobs and keep code reliability for each job.

There is simply no such thing as a truly UNIVERSAL and ALL-PURPOSE ink. For instance:

The ink that works on plastic won’t necessarily work on glass or metal Moisture on or any contamination of the product surface can jeopardize the reliability of codes printed with a standard ink.
Release coats on glass or metal can prevent the adhesion of standard inks. Different application drying times require completely different inks.
Bare metals and coated metals require different inks.

Flexible materials - depending on their type and grade – call for completely different inks.

Inks whose delicate solid-to-solvent ratio has been destroyed because they have been diluted with excessive solvent to "extend" its use can cause costly problems in machine application, opacity, and surface adhesion.

To meet all these problems, JMD has developed its own series of inks. Every JMD ink has been individually formulated to meet a specific application. Each ink formulation is subject to strict quality control standards and testing. JMD stands behind its inks – we are committed to providing our customers with inks formulated for their specific needs.

You no longer have to sacrifice your code quality for expediency or false economy. Let JMD’s ink experts solve your problems. Please write or call us for more information.
