Special Purpose and Custom Color Inks
JMD can
provide you with inks for just about any application. Even if the ink you
require is not one of our standard inks, we can offer you a custom formulation
both for unique marking characteristics (applications) as well as color. If you
provide us with a sample of the desired color, we will complete the color match
within five (5) days and production of the custom color ink within ten (10)
days.
JMD can also help you with customizing the best ink for your application. All
you have to do is provide us with a sample of your product and surface
application characteristics (porosity, temperature parameters, unique coatings,
and use environment, etc.). We then perform our test procedures and find the ink
that best meets your requirements.
JMD will complete this test work within seven (7) days of receipt of the sample
and report the results with a recommended formulation and quotation.
We can also offer you multi-color ink rollers which can print 2-3 colors in one
pass (depending on the size of the print).
Now
JMD can also be you provider for all your ink jet ink.
Ø Product Design Services
We can customize almost anything to your requirements. As
mentioned above, we can do that with the inks and we can also do that with
machines. For example, you give us all the specifications for your application
and we can readjust our machines to fit your requirements.
Ø Rebuilding & Repair Services
JMD machines are virtually maintenance free. But in the event
that it does need service or repairing, there will be no labor charges and you
will only have the minimal cost of replacement parts.
We will
provide you with an estimate for repairs and tentative delivery date within a
week of receipt of the machine. Repairs will only be done upon your confirmation
via fax. We can offer you a loaner machine for a small fee in the event that the
delivery date is more than two weeks away. Please call us for these details.

JMD accepts
both Mastercard and Visa as payment options. You can also choose to be invoiced
with terms of 30 days after a credit check has been done.

Custom Print Plates and Logo Designs
Logos
A
logotype is lines of characters molded in one piece. Logos provide superior
quality impressions over combinations of single characters because of uniform
type wear. They also save time and minimize costly spelling and coding errors.
Orders should indicate character size, style and maximum length, if space is
limited.
Rubber
Choices
Natural rubber is best for general purpose use
with water-based or alcohol based inks. Assortments are stocked in natural
rubber with a standard hardness of 55-durometer. Softer 30-durometer rubber can
be supplied.
EP 50 Green rubber is solvent resistant and
available with a standard hardness of 55-durometer. Softer 30- durometer rubber
can also be supplied.
Buna Base-lock is recommended for use with
hydro-carbon derivatives will cause natural rubber to swell. Buna is black with
a standard hardness of 50-duromter. It is also available in harder 90-duromter
or softer 30-durometer material.
PVC is flexible plastic material that does not transfer
ink as well as natural rubber, but is much more durable.
Silicone is used for high-heat tolerance, such as thermal ink
and transfer printers.
